The sheets were dirty and torn, and the towels had stains that looked like blood. There was dust in the room, as if it hadn’t been cleaned. Outside, something like a water pump made noise now and then, and people slammed their doors several times. If you just need somewhere to sleep without worrying about much, it might do, but I’d regret spending 600 baht for proper rest. I wouldn’t come. The only good thing is that it’s right by the main road.

Whenever I stay in Kanchanaburi, I pick Ri's. The rooms are spacious, attractive, and clean in this three-story building, and parking is easy right off the main road. The owner is kind and lovely, and the rates are affordable.

For 500฿, this was really good value. I liked the spacious, fully furnished room, especially the very comfortable bed and the strong shower pressure. The owner was lovely, and the place was easy to find. Since it’s right on the road, a street-facing room may get some traffic noise. I’d stay again if I get the chance.

We turned up very late, and the owner came out to welcome us, helped with parking, and shared recommendations. The service was lovely and the stay was affordable. Our spacious room had a 6-foot king-size bed that fit three of us, two parents and our 3-year-old, plus cool air conditioning, hot water, and WiFi. In the morning there was coffee and bread. I’d recommend it to anyone passing through Kanchanaburi 👍

My sister had a great stay, with service that was excellent as usual. It felt like staying with a girlfriend or boyfriend. My own house is nearby, but I still haven’t gone to sleep!
