Banlang Hotel Resort & Swimmingpool

A quiet spot at a reasonable price, with a very nice swimming pool. The room was large, clean, and in excellent decorative condition, with plenty of places to charge things. It had an air conditioner, fan, refrigerator, television, kettle, cups and glasses, plus seating and a table both inside and outside. The bathroom was modern and bright, and the hot shower had good pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there were snacks and cold drinks at the reception area.

There are three room types at different prices and comfort levels: fan rooms, usually without hot water, larger AC rooms with hot water, and AC bungalows with hot water, a water heater, a dishwashing sink, and a big veranda. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a small market out front for essentials, sweets, and drinks, and you can get hot water there for coffee or instant soup. The small pool is perfect for cooling off on hot days. Parking is shaded.

We visited Banlang hotel resort again in February 2025, and it's still a really nice place to stay. I can recommend it. The rooms cost 250 Thb for a small fan room, 450 Thb for a larger AC room with a fridge, or 550 Thb for a big room. I first mentioned it as clean, quiet, and with a swimming pool in 2020. When I came back in 2023 after three years, it was still clean and quiet, and the lovely lady Kai speaks good English.

The customer service gets 5 stars, cleaning 4, and the air room 3 since the bed is a bit hard. The fan room gets no stars from me, it was very hot and tiny. The swimming pool could use a little more shade, but it's almost good. If I travel around there, I'd be very happy to sleep there again.
