Anantara Layan Phuket Resort

Don't sleep through breakfast, the buffet is outstanding. The staff were wonderful throughout and went above and beyond. We had one of the best meals I've ever had at Dara's. Khun Kana at the tour desk was extremely helpful and arranged a great snorkeling trip. The snorkeling was great in the emerald-green waters off Surin beach, and diving off the boat was amazing. Thailand hospitality at its finest. Thanks to everyone for the incredible service 👏

The rooms are a little dated, and the pool villa didn't feel like good value to me. Still, the quality and cleanliness were outstanding, and little touches made our stay even better. The food and people were incredible, whether we were by the beach or at the steakhouse ‘Age’. I haven't stayed at a resort with better service or food.

For our honeymoon, Anantara made everything feel special, with a calm, elegant atmosphere and a team that paid close attention to the details. The private dinner they arranged for us on the beach was a highlight, intimate and beautifully set up, with amazing food. It was one of those moments you don't forget. We also loved dining around the hotel. Zuma was amazing, with top-quality dishes and superb service. The steak restaurant inside the hotel felt like a hidden jewel, with lovely food, wonderful service and stunning terrace views. Anantara exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return.

We preferred having a room overlooking the resort, away from the pool. It can get noisy closer to it, since Zuma turns the music up each night. The morning breakfast selection at Breeze was lovely, and we enjoyed the regular shots around the pool. Zuma had a great atmosphere, food and service too. A big thank you for the sincere hospitality and great service during our stay to Bruno, Singing, JoJo, Knight, Lina, Riva and the 'The Wedding Ringer, Josh Gad' look alike.
