Maikhao Beach Guest House

I'd happily tell a couple or solo traveler to stay here. The owners are a gentle, lovely couple, and the place feels great value from the minute you walk in. The furniture, fittings, and general finish are all really high quality. I could see my car from the chalet through the big net curtains, a nice little bonus with the parking space provided. I live in Thailand, so being able to have a bath felt like a real luxury. I loved it here.

The family running the place were so kind and helpful, and the rooms were lovely. We spent one night and day here before leaving Thailand, with a nearby water park visit during the day. It's close to the airport and you can walk to the beach.

Right beside the beach, with a big bath, shower, and smart TV. The older Thai couple who run the place are delightful and will do anything for you. Breakfast in the morning was a treat, fruit and eggs, and they look after you almost like family.

The room was a great fit for couples, with a large fridge, TV, and working air conditioning. The price was good and the location decent. You can use the bikes for free, and breakfast is all you can eat until 10 am. They also leave beach mats and a hose outside to rinse the sand off after a beach trip. Check-in was a little confusing because nobody was at the front, the staff were at the back. The gentleman who welcomed us was friendly, showed us around, and suggested nearby restaurants and things to do.
