Villa H (Halena) is set up for a quiet break, with a lovely beach within walking distance and away from Phuket’s bustle. The views from every room are stunning, and the staff are helpful and very welcoming. The pool is awesome, and the Jacuzzi, steam room, and massage room are top notch. Definitely arrange the staff’s barbecue, and plan to stay at least seven nights.

I’d planned this as a birthday trip to Thailand, which had been on my bucket list for years. My mother died three days before I was due to leave, so I contacted The Luxury Signature, the company I booked this property through, and asked whether the dates could be moved so I could handle the funeral. I wasn’t asking for a refund. After days of back and forth, they told me only a few hours before my flight that the dates couldn’t be changed, and they kept the full booking amount of $4311.87. I was completely dismayed. I’ve seen the property listed on sites like Airbnb, which has a policy allowing cancellation up to 72 hours before check-in. The place looks beautiful, but based on my experience they showed no consideration for an unavoidable family emergency and wouldn’t accommodate a death in the family.

It was a really special Thailand holiday, private and peaceful. The staff stayed on top of whatever we needed, and the food from our Thai chef was fantastic. We’d definitely recommend it to people we care about who enjoy a private, luxurious getaway.

Such a great villa, and Kaew’s team made us feel well looked after. The infinity pool, sunset, jacuzzi, and gym were all lovely. With five bedrooms, two TV rooms, a kitchen, and a bar, there’s really no need to go out. We’d love to come back!
