Nai Yang Tour is a tour agency that also rents private rooms above its branch opposite Proud Phuket hotel, on the first and second floors. I’m reviewing the rooms here. For around 1000THB, don’t expect a resort with pools, a spa, or fancy gardens. But if you’d rather spend your money on diving or kiting than accommodation, this is great value. My room was pretty clean and had a small balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, with the usual Thai smile. They cleaned the room every day and left fresh towels and two bottles of water daily. I’d stay again. The beach is a five minute walk, and Nai Yang’s centre, with restaurants and shops, is about ten minutes away. There’s a small supermarket just 50 metres from the place. If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back to avoid street noise.

I stayed one night and would recommend it. The staff were professional and really friendly, and it was good value. My room was bright, quiet, and comfortable, with very good restaurants nearby. The national park is close, so you can enjoy the beach and surf at high tide if you have a board. Renting one is difficult, though. They also arranged a tour to similan Island with check in andamam, and it was great.

Good place to rent a bike, with new ones available for 300 baht per day. You have to top up the fuel when you return it, same as at other places.

I needed a room and everywhere else was full, so I walked in off the street. For 800 baht, I got a pretty decent, clean room with aircon, wifi, and a balcony. Great value for a night or two. I can’t speak to the tour service. The lady isn’t especially friendly, but she smiles and is nice.
