The Casita Phuket

The room smelled of sewage and mold. When we raised it, they offered to spray perfume. Cockroaches were roaming around the reception, and the cat walked on the tables where breakfast is served. The hygiene was below any standard, and staying here felt like a health hazard. The reception staff didn’t speak a word of English. We ended up finding somewhere else, as this was the worst place we’ve ever encountered. Stay away!

I stayed overnight because I had an early flight the next morning, and it worked out great. The room was big, the pool was beautiful, the place was very calm, and the staff were friendly. There’s a little shop on site for drinks and other things, as well as a 7-Eleven about a 10-minute walk away. The only downside is that the pool is shared with another room, so there isn’t always much privacy.

We had a great room with a pool, and were lucky to have it to ourselves. You may have to share it with people in the neighboring room. The staff were lovely and hospitable, and the room service was excellent, with service every day. The room itself was amazing, but there’s no safe, so keep that in mind if you’re bringing valuables. There are lots of restaurants in the area, though you’ll need to walk a little. You can also rent a bike nearby to get around more easily. If you’re traveling from overseas, bring a power adapter for your chargers. Otherwise, you’ll have to find the communications shop near the hotel to get one. Most of the nearby shops open around 10:00 a.m. I’d highly recommend staying here, and I’d definitely come back.

Nice area, and the pool is good for parties. There are five bedrooms right by the pool, so anyone can come stay, have a night party, enjoy themselves, and play.
