The town has kept its traditional feel and isn't overrun with mass tourism, which I hope stays that way. This isn't a party resort, and that suited us perfectly. We loved the pool and being able to swim in the sea, and there are good-value restaurants right by the beach nearby. You can also walk up to the temple on the headland. We came here for a few days after leaving Bangkok at the start of a four-week trip around Thailand and Malaysia. The staff were so friendly and helpful that I could happily have stayed another week, though my wife wanted to keep travelling.

A short walk from the main food area, this place is a little quieter at the north end of the beach road. The beach is right out front, and there's a lovely pool too. Our room was clean, the bed really comfortable, and it had tea, coffee and a kettle. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and you can borrow bicycles for free to get around locally. A great little place.

The resort is nice and fairly cheap. Restaurants are a bit of a way off, though you can use the bicycles or order a taxi motor vehicle. There's also a restaurant across the road, right on the beach, and it's okay. We rode to the foot of the nearby mountain, then walked up to a really nice temple.

Our cabin was the one closest to the beach. The furnishings aren't the newest, but everything was very nice and clean. We had a wonderful stay, and the staff were extremely helpful with all our questions. I'd definitely recommend this place.

We loved this special place so much that we added three nights because we didn't want to go. The hotel is kept beautifully maintained and so clean, and the staff are amazing. It felt like a secret paradise. We'll definitely be back, and thank you to all the staff!
