The staff member made the stay for me. She didn’t speak English, but we managed to communicate with Google Translate on my phone. For the very reasonable price, the apartment-style room was massive, with two air conditioners, two standing fans, a large fridge, and a TV with lots of local and international channels. They provide towels, a toilet roll, bath soap, two bottles of water, and coffee. The location is great. I stayed five days and four nights. Just don’t expect a fancy resort at that bargain price. Five stars.

The town is small and rural, but convenient, with a regular bus to the nearby city. It’s next to a beautiful lake, and the surroundings are green and peaceful. Since I lived here for a year, further development has made the location even better. The accommodation offers service and catering, and the host speaks English. The secure grounds have a pool for cooling off. Rooms are spacious and high standard. It’s a great fit for families wanting to experience traditional Thailand, and long stays are possible at very attractive rates with services included. My year here was pleasant and perfect. I recommend it without hesitation or regret.

It’s right in the city center, near the market, and the views are good. There are separate bedrooms, a clean queen-size bed, and a balcony that works well for smokers. But for Thai people, the price feels high for what’s provided. The ground-floor windows don’t lock, which didn’t feel safe for a woman staying there. There was only half a roll of toilet paper, two small bars of soap, and two bottles of water, one already opened. No kitchen, breakfast, staff on site, or night guard. The cable TV has movies with English audio. There wasn’t much choice here, so it was okay to stay. Good luck ;)

A handy place to rest on a road trip, and not expensive. It’s more of a flat than a room, with a living area and kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Clean and nice, with a small but pleasant pool. I didn’t try the restaurant since it was closed on Sunday. Lotus and 7/11 are nearby, as is a park with a nice view.
