The canal side balcony was a lovely spot to sit for a few minutes, and the room itself was bigger than expected, so luggage wasn't an issue. It was clean and matched the photos, with a clean shower and toilet, strong water pressure, and a large fridge. The two women running the place were gentle and welcoming. Trat is small, and the night market is only about a ten minute walk away, even though the homestay isn't marked in the town centre. For an overnight stop before the ferry to Koh Chang or Koh Kood, it worked well for me. I could stroll by the canal, wander around town and the market, grab food or a drink, then come back to a comfortable room before the pier pickup the next morning.

I only stayed briefly, but it was a great visit. My room was clean and comfortable, and the host arranged a taxi to the bus station that was waiting for me the next morning. I can see why the other reviews are positive.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and there was an evening food option right next to the property. You can rent bicycles or motorbikes, too. The spacious bungalow style rooms were well kept, with an attached bathroom and AC. Each window has a fly screen, so you can enjoy the light river breeze from beside the guesthouse instead of using the AC.

The area was peaceful, service was nice, and the room was clean. There are restaurants within walking distance. But comfort matters a lot to me, and the bed was unfortunately rock hard. I slept horribly because of it, so I wouldn't stay here again.

The owner was very kind, and the place felt peaceful beside the river. The rooms are large, well kept, and very clean. Restaurants and the centre of Trat town aren't too far away.
