Leelawadee Grand Hotel

The whole hotel, including our rooms and the hallways, was always very clean. Breakfast is free and includes bread or toast, jam, butter, and coffee. For 50 Baht, you can add two fried eggs or kai krata, an omelette with Chinese sausage, Vietnamese sausage, and minced pork. Those were delicious. The manager and staff were super friendly. On the morning we were catching a train to Laos, I realized I'd forgotten to get passport photos and needed them in a hurry. The manager called around to find somewhere open. When the Grab motorcycle arrived, she spoke with the Grab rider in Thai and negotiated a price for him to wait and bring me back to the hotel from the photo studio. She really went out of her way to help. Thank you so much.

Comfortable place in central Udonthani, close to restaurants and stores. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

If you're planning to go sightseeing and need a neat, clean room with friendly staff, this is a nice hotel in Udon Thani, Thailand. I enjoyed my stay. The newer wing and older building are both reasonably priced. The new building includes a mini breakfast, very basic with coffee, ovaltine, bread, butter, and jam. That makes sense for the modest rates. For an extra 50 baht, you can get two nice pan-fried eggs with your choice of toppings. When I asked the lobby to arrange a taxi to Central Udon, they helped promptly. Good budget option, clean and tidy.

Friendly staff and a comfortable stay for a low price. The hotel is new, too.
