Pakdee House

The city centre is lively but a little way off, though not too far, and the hotel itself is very quiet. Some staff speak English, and everyone I met was nice. For a better deal, book directly. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a good desk for working and a small balcony that may matter to smokers. I also loved sitting out on the terrace. Coffee and tea are available, though I brought my own because I don't like 3 in 1.

The room had a water heater, fridge, and stable Wi-Fi, and they topped up the complimentary water each day. There's also a washer and dryer near the main entrance. Every morning they put out complimentary coffee, bread with jam, and biscuits. Pakdee House is very quiet and super clean, with friendly staff. It's within walking distance of Central Mall and the bus terminal, and there are plenty of nearby food options. We had a wonderful stay. The price is incredibly affordable for the amenities, and we'd definitely recommend it.

Simple, clean, and very quiet, with few tourists around. The price is great. Coffee, little snacks, and water are available all day, and they serve toast with orange jam in the morning. It's easy to get to the center, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, yet the place stays quiet. The staff are nice. Not many speak English, but they're still helpful and sweet. I'd recommend it.

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, though the shower pressure was weak. The owner is kind. There's parking for cars and motorbikes, plus a washing machine and dryer on the ground floor. Coffee is out all day, with self-service toast and jam in the morning. It's a budget room on a quiet alley, within walking distance of Central and the bus station. Posri road isn't easy to cross. There's a footbridge near UDtown and a pedestrian crossing at the Posri-Pokanusorn intersection. If you arrive at the train station and the TukTuk driver doesn't know Pakdee house, they'll at least know the nearby temple, Wat Phothiwararam (Wat Phothiwararam).
