I picked this mainly because the bus terminal is a three-minute walk away, so for an overnight bus trip it gave me peace of mind that I wouldn’t miss the bus. I slept well, had a hot shower, and there were a few food stalls around. I’d stay again if I were travelling by bus overnight, but otherwise, probably not. The hotel is quite old. My room window looked into the building and corridor instead of outside, so I had to keep the curtain closed for privacy. The bed and bathroom made me uncomfortable, like being in a cell, though it was okay for one night.

The front desk team were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. There’s a cafe connected to the lobby, and a 7-11 just across the road. The hotel has a pleasant, quiet atmosphere and feels comfortable for a longer stay. It’s across from Bus Terminal 1 in Udon Thani, close to Central Plaza, bars, massage outlets, and restaurants.

It’s right in the middle of town and has a small, secure parking lot. The value is very good, and the owner and staff were friendly enough to make up for the basic room and bathroom. The hotel is 52 years old and has its own character, with a feel that takes you back to the sixties. It’s definitely not modern, so don’t expect 5*.

Great location, comfortable bed, and very pleasant staff. The air conditioning and wifi were good, too. It’s cheap and fairly clean, but the bathroom is awful, like a prison bathroom. Fine for a solo traveler for one or two nights at most. There’s no lift, though it’s only three stories.

The rooms could use some work, and this old-school place is better for a night’s stopover than a longer stay. The service staff were among the friendliest I’ve met at any hotel. Really lovely people.
