This two-storey hotel is tucked along a small street near a little reservoir, and there’s a coffee shop in the garden. It’s conveniently placed for heading north into Loei or south, with either trip taking about an hour from the hotel. The drawbacks are the thin walls, which let noise through, and gaps around the door that let light in.

The room was clean and came with a hair dryer. Breakfast was Thai style, with around 7-10 menu options each day, and the price was within budget at 590 ฿. The service felt like it came from a buddy, and I was really happy with the hotel.

We had a really bad experience here. We booked and paid online through agoda, but the owner said they hadn't received our money. They couldn't find our name, though they did let us stay that night. The next morning, they still said our name wasn't there. I told them to contact agoda because I have proof of everything. Bad service, and I don't recommend this place at all.

After driving four hours, we arrived at 8 pm with an Agoda booking and were told the hotel was full. The owner walked away and wouldn't help us at all. Avoid this hotel.
