Areeya Resort

The peaceful garden overlooking a quiet lake makes this a lovely place to slow down and enjoy nature. The bungalows are simple, cozy, spotless, and set up thoughtfully. The food and coffee were much better than I'd expect at a small resort. Areeya Resort was a wonderful surprise in Sa Kaeo, and the owners are a genuinely warm, welcoming couple who make it feel relaxed and family-friendly from the moment you arrive. A charming place I'd happily recommend.

We came for birdwatching and weren't disappointed, even though Pang Sida national park is especially known for butterflies. It's a beautiful, quiet area, and the resort is close by, so it works well for a visit to the park. The grounds are well kept, with special care taken over the landscape. The owners are very friendly, and we enjoyed talking with them. I'd go back when I'm in the area.

There's plenty of parking, and the accommodation is spacious and clean. Areeya and Ernst are lovely hosts who are always helpful. On my second visit, I was just as happy to be here. The quiet resort sits in a lush garden in Sa Kaeo province, with fruit trees everywhere, mangoes, star fruits, goose berries, goava, and cashew trees showing off their red fruits. It feels like rural Thailand at its best, with people always smiling and helpful. I often call this little gem a paradise, a serene place to chill out.

This was my second stay. The rooms are great, the hosts are very pleasant, and I'll come back again.
