Amatara Welleisure Resort

Nui and Mr. Top helped arrange our stay, and my waiter Nut was excellent. The staff were all friendly and efficient. I'm writing this during an incredibly romantic dinner at Amatara Wellleisure Resort in Phuket, where I'm here to propose to my fiancée. The Pool Suite's private pool, the room view, and the resort's own little private beach made it a relaxing and surreal experience for us. Nui and Mr. Top even arranged the romantic dinner setup without me asking. To me, that kind of service means understanding what guests want. I'm so glad I chose this hotel. 10/10, I'd recommend it.

If all you want is pool time, this place works well. The pools are huge and great, and having one by our room was perfect. Food was good, though heavily overpriced. There are also good food options at the restaurants along the street, and the resort offers transport to the entrance. The beach is more like a rocky cove, so swimming there isn't very pleasant and you shouldn't count on beach days. The location is secluded, so make sure that suits you before booking.

The crows have become a real nuisance for us. There are too many, they're noisy, and they seem to get closer every year. It's especially bothersome at the main pool and during breakfast. Something needs to be done, including relocating them. This is our third visit to Amatara, and we still haven't found anywhere comparable in Thailand. Everywhere feels beautiful, whether we're at the pool, on the beach, in the lobby, or in a restaurant. We feel at ease here, and we're grateful to all the staff who keep giving their best day after day. THANK YOU!!!

The cliffside setting has amazing views, and the private beach made it a wonderful stay. Our rooms were clean, and housekeeping did a thorough job. The hotel seemed new and well maintained, and there were enough vegetarian choices on the menu. The receptionist was welcoming and answered all our questions. We also got a free upgrade. Special thanks to "Jasper," who patiently handled our questions and went out of her way to make things pleasant. We had an early flight, and they prepared a breakfast basket for us to take along without us even asking.
