The view of the sea and sunset from Akoya Sky Lounge Bar at V Villas Phuket was unobstructed and breathtaking. Minni was an outstanding host, friendly and incredibly helpful. Arm served dinner with a smile all evening, and Nott made us wonderful drinks. The food was exquisite, the drinks ice-cold, and the service exceptional. It was a truly memorable evening. Our stay felt seamless and special thanks in large part to our butler, Boat. He was warm from the start, attentive, and available whenever we needed help. Every request was handled promptly and professionally, with care rather than a rushed or mechanical feel. His thoughtful solutions, initiative, and eye for detail made a real difference. We’re also grateful to Mr. TA, the in-house shuttle driver, whose friendliness and welcoming manner made getting around the property more comfortable. His positive attitude was clear and much appreciated. Please pass along our thanks to both Boat and Mr. TA. They’re a real asset and a big reason the stay was so memorable.

We stayed three nights. The buggy staff and our assigned butler were kind and responsive, which was a positive part of the service. Several other details, though, made the stay feel less refined than expected for around $1,100 USD a night. On February 28, we had lunch at the restaurant and were asked to pay before 4 PM while we were still eating. It wasn’t close to closing time, and since it’s an all-day dining restaurant, we’d never been asked to settle during a meal at a five-star hotel before. Nobody checked on the food or service first, so it felt as if payment mattered more than the guest experience. We also had to request a receipt for room charges, which is usually provided when signing. At check-in, we had prepaid 7,000 THB cash for a three-day breakfast promotion. Still, on March 1, we were told the next morning that breakfast wasn’t included, without anyone first confirming internally. That was surprising and uncomfortable. The promotion was refunded, but because we’d already used two of the three breakfasts, the effective compensation was about 4,666 THB. We had emailed before arrival asking for glass items to be removed for our children’s safety. When we arrived, glass water bottles were still on top of the refrigerator, and there were other glass bottles near the sink. We had to ask again, and were disappointed the request hadn’t been fully carried out. On our last morning, we found a very large cockroach inside the villa. We’d kept the doors closed because we were already careful about insects and lizards in a tropical environment, so finding it inside was shocking and uncomfortable. Staff responded right away and removed it by hand, which raised some hygiene concerns. We checked out about four hours earlier than planned after that. The private pool stayed cold and its temperature couldn’t be adjusted properly, which was inconvenient with children. Also, as other reviews mention, the toilet was very sensitive. Even a little toilet paper could block it and require staff help, so we felt we had to be extremely cautious. Families with young children may want to keep these issues in mind.

The part I’ll remember most about V Villa Resort in Phuket is how personal the stay felt. Staff remembered our names, preferences, and even favorite drinks by the second day. The front desk greeted us with real smiles and welcome drinks, while the concierge arranged tours and transportation and went above and beyond. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel like VIPs, and felt like authentic Thai hospitality. Our villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and had every modern comfort we could imagine. The private pool was a dream, the views looked like postcards, and housekeeping kept everything immaculate. Beds were made perfectly, towels folded with care, and fresh flowers appeared each day. The cleaners were polite, efficient, and discreet. We also loved the on-site restaurant. The Thai flavors were authentic, and the dishes looked beautiful. Fresh seafood, balanced curries, and creative international choices were all delicious. The staff knew the menu, accommodated dietary preferences, and were attentive without hovering. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the ocean became a favorite daily ritual. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained, from the flower beds to the pathways. The infinity pool, spa, fitness center, and beach access were all top-notch. The spa therapists gave me some of the best massages I’ve ever had, and I left feeling rejuvenated. From arrival to departure, this was a magical stay and exceeded my expectations. Luxurious accommodation, great food, pristine surroundings, and a team that genuinely cares made the experience feel both indulgent and personal. To the whole V Villa Resort family, thank you for the memories. We’ll absolutely return, and I’d encourage anyone visiting Phuket to make it their home away from home. ❤️🌴
