Conference Hotel "Sipehr"

I extended my stay for another 7 nights because I found the hotel peaceful and everything worked well for me. After several months of travel, I wanted somewhere to relax and catch up on administration. I booked 7 nights through a notable online booking platform for less than the price of 6, presumably because of a promotion. My room was light and looked out over the scenic courtyard. It had a desk, refrigerator, AC, hairdryer, satellite television and wardrobe. The ensuite had a corner bath, shower and bidet. There was always hot water with good pressure, and three towels and bathroom amenities were supplied. Breakfast was included. It was simple, but charming enough: two eggs, two sausages, bread, jam, and a pot of tea or cup of coffee. I liked going downstairs for breakfast, served from 8-11. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the airport. Public bus number 3 stops outside and goes to Kujand for 2.50. Pamir market is a 5 minute walk away, and it had the best somsas I’ve ever had, chicken and tomato. There’s a gym next to reception and staff are there 24 hours. It was often very quiet, but professionally managed, and everyone was delightful and well-mannered. Airline pilots and cabin crew stay here too. I enjoyed the town and the hotel’s proximity to the airport, where I arrived and departed from Dushanbe for £24 each way. For me, everything was perfect.

The building and location are good, but it was a very lonely place while I was there, as I was the only guest. There’s no restaurant apart from breakfast, no beverages and no minibar. It’s quite expensive compared with other hotels in Chkalovsk.

There were no towels in the room, and the staff gave really horrible customer service. There was no Wi-Fi, and nobody knew the password.

Clean, comfortable, and honest. One of the best hotels in the world!
