The facility deserves five stars and the price was good value, but check-in was a nightmare, so my overall rating is two stars. The website and my receipt both said credit cards were accepted, but at arrival they told me they no longer took cards and wanted cash only. They said their “Developer” in Dubai hadn’t updated the website, and they didn’t think they needed to email me. I didn’t have an extra $1035 in cash. The “Director” said we’d have to find another hotel if we couldn’t pay cash, after we’d carried luggage for five people up to the fifth floor. His approach to customer service felt old Soviet. It was Saturday morning in the US, but after a phone call we managed to arrange a wire transfer.

The welcome was genuinely warm. The hotel manager was always available and helped with all my questions, even ones beyond my stay, like registration. I’d highly recommend it!

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent. It had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay, plus excellent Wi-Fi in the room.
