The rooms were fine, though there was noise at times, and cigarette smoke from outside could drift in. The bunks had privacy curtains. The WC was clean despite an odd smell. Breakfast was mostly snack type food, but there were eggs, deli meat, cheese, and bread. Construction currently makes getting to the place a bit difficult.

We arrived at 4 a.m. in the cold, and the manager came out to meet us. The rooms were already ready, with the heater on, which was lovely. Our family of five had two clean, cozy rooms next to each other. We slept late the next morning, and they brought us a nice breakfast when we were ready. We’ll stay here again.

We were the only ones in the dorm room, which was simple but clean. It stayed quiet at night, so my buddy and I slept well, and breakfast was very good and served with care. The family who run the hostel also live there, and the staff were friendly and sincere. They arranged a taxi to the bus station and kindly checked on the intercity bus service to Panjakent with Asian Express. The shared washrooms are outside the main building, so getting to the toilet or shower means a short walk. That might not suit everyone, and an ensuite room would be another option. The property is in a residential area, fairly close to the city centre and main attractions. I’d definitely recommend staying there.

The room was nice and the AC worked well, but the kitchen was very dirty. A lot of Indian workers live there long term and got up early, making plenty of noise. When we mentioned it, the administration didn’t seem to care.
