The location is excellent, right in the city center and within walking distance of Rudaki Park. There are three hotels in the same building as Firdavsi Hotel, and the reception is on the 17th floor. The room was basic but nice. Wi-Fi worked, though it wasn’t fast.

The location is good and breakfast was good too. But we’d booked two rooms at Panorama, and when the staff showed them to us, one was a nice, large room on the 17th floor while the other was smaller and much less nice, on the 4th floor. After spending a few minutes in the second room, we realized we were actually in Firdavsi hotel. It seemed that Panorama Hotel probably only had one room available, so be aware, since Firdavsi scores are much lower than Panorama’s.

From the 17th floor there’s a good view, and there are lots of entertainment options and restaurants nearby. It’s a good hotel, close to the city center.

The breakfast was a letdown and didn’t feel worth the price. Even though we arrived early, they said the fruit was already gone, and the milk had spoiled, so they couldn’t make kasha. Some staff were also rude and unpleasant to deal with. The location was nice, close enough to walk to the center. The room was okay, with comfortable beds, some drinks, a microwave and a fridge. They accepted Visa, but not Mastercard. The air conditioner didn’t work properly and the TV didn’t work at all. Staff said they’d fix them, but nothing happened. The blanket was dirty and they replaced it, but there were no clean sheets. They promised to bring some the next day, and never did.

The staff were friendly, the rooms very clean, and the price was very good for the service. It’s right in the center of Dushanbe, close to restaurants and the main attractions, and you can see the city from the 17th floor. I stayed here on my visit to Dushanbe. Cristian, Romania
