Panjakent Plaza

The spread at dinner was colorful, with fresh vegetables, corn, basil, cilantro, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, plus grapes, pears, and apples. Coca-Cola and chilled spring water were on the tables too. Everything was laid out on long tables with spotless cloths and chairs dressed in fine fabric, which gave the room a royal feel. The white plates and shiny cutlery added to it, and the herbs filled the hall with a lovely smell. Sharing the evening with friends, laughing and talking, made the meal feel especially warm. Each bite seemed to carry the kindness and hospitality of Panjakent Plaza. It was a memorable night, really about friendship, affection, and enjoying life together. 🌟

The rooms are spacious and the staff were nice, but I wouldn't call this a luxurious stay unless you're a student. For older travellers, the poor quality of the work is hard to overlook. My room wasn't very clean: the floors had been washed, but the hoover clearly wasn't working. The walls are thin enough that you hear the neighbours, and the sheets didn't fit the bed, so they were bunched up by morning. Several things also seemed poorly finished or fixed: sockets were hanging out of the walls, the toilet seat wasn't properly attached, and my shower had no fixation. Our tour guide arranged this hotel, and it left me wondering whether it's the best option in Panjakent. I didn't eat there, so I can't say anything about breakfast.

The wifi barely works, and the rooms can be unfinished, dirty, or even dangerous. I really can't see this as anything but a one-star place. Stay clear. :)

We had a good stay. The staff were really friendly, and our room was comfortable and large, with a big bath in the bathroom. Breakfast was simple but set us up for the day. Getting to food or a taxi takes a bit of a walk, so the location isn't ideal unless you have your own transport meeting you there. I don't know what the other places to stay in Panjakent are like, but for the price, I think this is good.
