The place looks marvellous from outside, but the room quickly takes away that glamour. The basics say a lot: two beds with only one sheet, no bed protector, and linen in a pretty ick state. When I asked for another sheet, they handed me one that was wet and folded. The bathrooms need a really deep clean. Breakfast is a sad little offering, and the only coffee is Nescafé instant. Even the cups situation was odd, with two cups, one saucer, and no spoons. It feels like nobody cares and there’s no manager. Sadly, it’s the only option in town.

If you need to stay in Mary, I’d only use this place for one night in transit. Breakfast is very basic, and although the hotel looks classy and big, the space feels completely wasted. The room’s electrical points are all in the wrong places. The slippers, utensils, and kettle look high quality, but everything used is inferior.

The views from the window were great, and breakfast was good. There was also a kettle with some instant coffee. But the rooms felt a bit worn, with carpet stains and mold in the bathroom, even though the outside and entrance looked very fancy. The front desk staff were a bit rude when I arrived, maybe because they didn’t speak English.

Breakfast was okay, though there wasn’t much of a spread. The beds and chairs were comfortable, and the hotel had all the facilities needed. It’s centrally located, with a good view of Mary. The lobby is spacious and grand, a nice place to sit and chat.
