Hotel Leklil

The rooms were dirty, there was no hot water even in winter, and the TV didn't work. The receptionist was disrespectful, dishonest, and unethical. The kitchen had just one main dish and no alternatives. I can't recommend this place.

I booked three days ahead by phone and WhatsApp after an acquaintance recommended the hotel, since they don't use email. Ms. J. was welcoming during that first call. On arrival day, though, things quickly became a nightmare. Four hours before I was due, I asked for directions on WhatsApp and was told that sending them would use up her internet credit. I called again an hour before arriving and still got no real help. I ended up driving around the entire city center until I found a taxi driver who knew the area. The hotel wasn't showing on Maps, so I added it myself to help future travelers. The welcome at the hotel was adequate, but the supposed single room was a huge letdown. It smelled unbearably damp despite it being midsummer, there was dust on the vanity, the sheets were worn, and it had two separate beds instead of one proper bed. When I requested another room, I was told the double beds were reserved "for honeymooners," and that no change was possible. I couldn't put up with it any longer, so I apologized and left straight away. A very disappointing stay, and I absolutely don't recommend it.

It was a really bad experience, that's all I can say.

The service was poor, and the rooms need renovation.
