The accommodation is beautiful, and I’d personally recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious home. The staff member who came to show me around was very kind. Still, this felt like an Airbnb rather than a hotel. The host and staff aren’t on site, and although the booking site listed check-in at 2 PM, the door was locked when I arrived. I couldn’t reach anyone for an hour. They blamed me for not telling them my arrival time in advance and avoided taking responsibility. I’ve never had a hotel lock its doors at check-in. The host was only reachable by phone and seemed quite unfriendly and irresponsible.

Jasmine and bougainvillea everywhere, and such a lovely place to stay 😍 Houd is a charming, clean and comfortable guesthouse right in the middle of a typical Djerba village. The staff are incredibly attentive, and the owner is happy to point out the island's must-see sights.

We were sorry to leave this peaceful little haven. Ouajdi and the housekeeper were welcoming and always available, and the value for money is hard to beat. Djerbahood is a quiet village, about 10 minutes by car from Houmt Souk, and made a lovely base for our vacation. Thanks for everything, we'd recommend it without hesitation!

For 180 dt, the double room came with breakfast only, and the breakfast is there in the photo to see. I was really disappointed with what was offered. Too bad!!!
