Prestige Resort Hammamet

The staff couldn’t find my booking. After 45 minutes, they told me I’d have to change hotels. A very bad experience.

The agency we travelled with, "PARADIDO VOYAGE A HUSSEIN DEY", was a complete rip-off. They’re riggers. They sold us a hotel "not far from Carthage Land", but it was actually far away, with no taxis available and inflated prices that take advantage of customers. My stay at the hotel was a nightmare from beginning to end. There were mosquitoes all over the room, so sleeping properly was impossible. There was no air conditioning in the heat, and no elevator, which was exhausting with luggage. The beach was a huge letdown too, with no proper seating, parasols or sun loungers. Reception was nonexistent: no smiles, no politeness, and an unpleasant way of speaking. Whenever I asked for something, I was coldly told, "tomorrow, tomorrow". Nothing ever got done, and I wasted my vacation waiting. I absolutely don’t recommend this place.

The morning reception team and the evening entertainment were the only good parts of the hotel. The evening reception staff were very unpleasant and even aggressive. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms or elevator, and the stairs stay wet all day. They didn’t even put anyone there to attend to guests. Those might seem like small things, but they make a big difference. Management seems not to care 😓.

Catastrophic. The elevators don’t work, the food is like dog food and nothing is edible. There are air conditioning problems too. Drinks at the bar, including coffee and alcohol, still cost extra inside the hotel. There’s no security, too many thieves and groups of young men, no organization, and things were stolen from the rooms.
