We had a brilliant week at the end of April. The grounds were lush with palm trees, leading down to a white sand beach, and the hotel itself has an attractive design. Our sea view room was worth the extra cost, with a large balcony, sofa, table and chairs, and lovely views across the beach, grounds and main pool. Inside, it was spacious, with a sitting area and a huge walk-in wardrobe. The main pool is long enough for laps, over 25 metres, and we also liked the adults-only pool and the beautiful indoor pool. The main restaurant didn’t offer as much choice as some all-inclusives we’ve visited, but we could always find something we wanted. The spa is worth a visit too. The Californian massage was wonderfully relaxing, thanks to Maya. The staff were another highlight, all friendly and helpful. Thanks especially to Makrem and Wallid at the main bar, Bashir in the buffet restaurant, Mohammed at the main pool and Jasser at reception. Since we were there just before high season, things were quiet: the outdoor restaurant was closed, and the pool bar only opened in the last day or so. Keep that in mind if you visit between November and April, though it didn’t spoil our stay.

The hotel has a grand, spacious lounge with an impressive central bar, and the building has a stylish feel. The food was good, with plenty of options, and there was some entertainment during the week. It’s right at the end of the local promenade, though I imagine the area gets much busier in summer. My family and I stayed for a week in February, outside the season, so some facilities were limited. The outdoor bars were closed and the main pool wasn’t heated, but we knew what to expect and could use the indoor pool. The rooms were enormous, with large bathrooms and pleasant balconies. Everything was clean and well equipped. A few things weren’t working when we arrived, but reception dealt with them quickly. If this helped with your decision, I’d appreciate a 👍. I’ve got more reviews if you’re curious. Thanks!

This place is awful. We stayed next door, and they played loud music all night, disturbing guests at the busy resorts around them. Maybe they can’t stand that the other places are busy. When we contacted them last night and asked them to stop, they said they would in ten minutes, but the music carried on until 7am. I can only imagine they keep their own guests awake too. You can’t play music until seven in the morning, torment children and expect to stay in business for long. I hope they close soon. I’m reporting them to the police.

The hotel has a lovely, faded elegance, with some charming architectural details. It felt relaxed, without any fuss or pressure, and the grounds were immaculate. Our room was enormous and looked out toward the ocean and main pool. The beach was lovely too, with soft sand, showers and a good beach bar. I was on half-board, and drinks and incidentals were reasonably priced. The on-site shops were useful and had a good range of goods, including tobacco. The buffet was varied, with plenty of interesting local dishes as well as familiar options for less adventurous eaters. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, remembering little things like which drink I liked and where I preferred to sit. I’d definitely return. There was a group of men attending a conference while we were there, and I didn’t envy them having to work through PowerPoint presentations with all those amenities around.

Avoid this resort if you want a peaceful trip or are travelling with family. Very loud music starts in the early evening and carries on until 7am the next morning. Nearby resorts are badly affected by the noise too.
