The cabin itself was amazing, especially the one tucked toward the back. But the shower room really needs updating, the WiFi didn’t work at all, and the evening meal was cold and tasteless. Breakfast was a little better. When we arrived, we couldn’t find reception, and once we eventually found someone, they said they were fully booked even though the place looked empty, so we couldn’t get the two nights we wanted. We were also told the water and electricity would be off for 20 minutes. When we left, we put the key in the door and mentioned it to a staff member on the way out. They didn’t seem to care, to be honest.

The room quality didn’t justify the price. The building looked dirty, there was no reception, and the staff weren’t very friendly. It’s a shame, because this could be a much better place.

The rooms were a letdown for our two families. One got a luxury cabin in the oasis palm, while the other was put in a tiny room in the building. From the pictures, we’d expected wooden rooms, so the two options felt completely different from what we had in mind. Reception staff seemed lost, and we waited in the hall for 10-15 minutes before anyone asked us to take our rooms. The room for the second family was far too small for four people, with one extra bed squeezed in. A really disappointing first stay at this guest house.

The location and surroundings are beautiful, with an oasis feel, and the Tunisian food was delicious. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Fantastic place to stay, and every part of the visit was excellent. I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed for 8 days in a clean, pleasant house. The people were very nice, and both breakfast and dinner were good. Highly recommended.
