El Mansour

The setting was beautiful, and the food at the à la carte restaurant was delicious. Waheed looked after us there, while Naeem also made sure we felt cared for. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay at Hotel El Mansour Mahdia Thalasso & Spa. The Guest Relations Manager deserves a special thank you for her professionalism and dedication. She went above and beyond to make the stay feel perfect. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back.

Mr. Nassim Ibrahim was there whenever we needed help, and we’ll always be grateful for his service. He was professional, kind, friendly, and hardworking. The animation team kept activities going throughout the day and were amazing. The whole staff team was extremely friendly and helpful. We also loved the varied food, location, rooms, beach, and pool area. Our stay was wonderful, and we’ll certainly return.

The food was the main problem for us. It was horrible, with the same dishes every day. There was food we could eat, but my family and I never felt satisfied or full. Our room was on the second floor and had a strange smell and dust everywhere. The beds were okay, though the shower wasn't great: the water kept swinging between far too hot and far too cold, and the shower head could be changed. The staff were so nice and easy to talk to, always ready to help. I also loved the animation team. They were kind and funny, kept us entertained, and sometimes sat down for a chat. Apart from the food and room issues, everything else was okay.

The service, cleanliness, and staff attitude were extremely disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel. There was an unpleasant smell throughout the building, which made the stay uncomfortable and left the impression that the place wasn't properly maintained. The main restaurant was dirty, and the dishes often looked as if they hadn't been washed. Around the pool, leftover food and drinks from previous days were still lying about. One young girl preparing fish made faces and laughed at guests, which felt unacceptable in a hospitality setting. We booked a superior room with a sea view but didn't receive the room we reserved. It also went uncleaned for two days. When I complained, reception said they had too many new guests, but I had paid to stay there and expected basic service. I was quoted 80 TND for late check-out, then told the price was 100 TND when the day arrived. Staff were extremely rude, arrogant, unprofessional, and unhelpful. It was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. Never again.
