Vincci Helios Beach

A heartfelt thank you to everyone at the hotel for making my stay so wonderful. The service was kind and helpful throughout. I especially want to thank Ms. Mufida, who kept my room so clean and orderly, with a level of care I haven't experienced at the many hotels I've visited in different countries. The animation team really makes this place special, and we loved the service, family room, food, beach, and aquapark, especially with small children. We only had one minor complaint: our family room near the beach got loud when disco parties ran until 23:30. There were two such nights during our five-day trip. I think the disco should stay, since someone in my family enjoyed it, but the hotel could improve soundproofing in rooms closest to it.

The food was okay, but the service was awful. When we asked for cutlery, a server just pointed us to another table to get it ourselves. Some cups were chipped or broken, and supposedly clean dishes still had food stuck underneath. We also saw food that clearly didn't look safe to eat, especially some terrible-looking vegetables. Our room was dirty, with a sticky floor and a dirty bathtub, even after we asked the hotel to clean again. The service, rooms, and overall facilities don't meet 4-star standards. I wouldn't recommend it.

The people we met made our stay on Djerba memorable. There was such a kind, warm atmosphere, and one waiter in particular always greeted us with a smile and made meals more pleasant. We visited with my mom as two women traveling alone, and felt safe, which mattered a lot to us. Our room was clean and serviced every day, and the beach right beside the hotel is gorgeous. I think the food has something for everyone, even picky eaters like me. A few small things could be improved, but it's clear the staff work hard and care about guests. Thank you!
