Bella Vista Family Resort

The staff were nice, and the beach was good, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel. We spent three days there last August, and the experience was awful. It was extremely crowded, and the food was tasteless, with no variety. It felt like a hunger game: arrive at the wrong time and there'd be nothing edible or even a chair to sit on. We'd booked a room for four adults, but were first given two beds, two couches, and an AC that didn't work. We insisted on changing rooms, and they eventually gave us the room we should have had from the start. Definitely not a four-star hotel.

For a one-night business trip, I needed somewhere reasonably priced, and I enjoyed the stay more than I expected. The room was tidy and attractive, with two bottles of water, toiletries, and towels provided. The staff were friendly, the beach is right beside the hotel, and it's near both the airport and train station. It's decent for a short stay at this price. If you want luxury, plan to stay in for a long time, or expect sophistication, this probably isn't the place for you. My room faced the front, so noise from planes and trains made sleeping difficult. I think rooms farther inside, especially with a sea view, may not have that problem. The room could have been cleaner, too, and the flies outside on the terrace were annoying in autumn. The hotel was quiet, which suited us because we wanted a relaxed break. Most nearby places were closed for winter and Ramadan, but taxis were very reasonably priced for exploring nearby towns and cities.

I booked two rooms for me and my kids, but the stay left us disappointed. The only positive was the evening entertainment shows. The reception staff weren't helpful and gave us poor support. Water supply problems came up every day, and the old TVs in the rooms had no channels to watch. There wasn't Wi-Fi in any room, and what little signal there was in reception was extremely weak. Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The place itself is good, but I booked a sea-facing apartment and reception sent me to one far from the sea. When I asked to change rooms, they refused. The food had little variety, and you couldn't even finish a meal. The way foreigners are treated isn't the same as the way Arabs are treated. Staff only smile at foreigners, even though a foreigner from northeastern Europe doesn't even have a day's dinner.
