Sahara Beach Aquapark Resort

The food was tasty and there was plenty of variety, including local dishes, and the excursions we booked nearby were really satisfying. The staff were lovely, always polite and smiling. The rooms are small but clean, and housekeeping was very good, though the balcony could use a sweep. The pool was nice too, but some of the loungers looked a bit dirty and could be cleaned more often. There was more loud entertainment than I wanted, with too little space to relax quietly, especially in the evenings. Karaoke twice a week carried across the whole resort. It might work better in a closed room, since not everyone who likes singing can sing well. 😉 The massage was the one uncomfortable part: the woman barely spoke to me beforehand, put on the air conditioning so I felt cold, and chatted with a colleague while she worked. I’d hoped for a relaxing treatment in silence or with pleasant music. Still, we had a really enjoyable holiday here, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

We spent seven nights here in April 2026, and all five of us, including the kids, loved it. There was always somewhere nearby to eat, even down by the beach. The private beach, pools and aqua park were all great, and the food choice was amazing. The hotel had plenty of staff, and the toilets both inside and outside were constantly looked after. There were also shower heads near the beach on the hotel grounds. With all this, it really shouldn’t be rated as a 3-star hotel. It deserves 5 stars.

We only had three days here and I already wish we could’ve stayed longer. The rooms were clean, the food was good, and the pools and atmosphere were great. The team made us feel welcome, and the entertainment kept things fun the whole time. I’d happily recommend it. ❤️🫶🏽

Our girls, aged 7 and 4, absolutely loved the Kids’ Club and the staff there. The activities were great, especially the lively Mini Disco every evening. Huge thanks to Mimi, Zoey, and Justin for taking such friendly care of them. We had a wonderful week at Sahara Beach, with kind, attentive staff, clean pools, and delicious food. The restaurant had a fantastic range, from traditional Tunisian dishes to the usual buffet options, and the dessert table was a dream. Thanks to the omelette man for making heart-shaped eggs for the kids, the pizza guys, the pancake girl, and our lovely attentive servers Sami Ben Salah and Mansour Slimi. The team at the stables also helped make our beach horseback ride special. The girls will remember their first ride and getting invited to help wash the horses. Thanks as well to the animation team, Carmella, Boba, Mina, Mimi, and Zoey, to the woman who kept our room clean and left little surprises for the kids, the pool staff who brought over sunbed mats when we arrived, and the lifeguard who jumped in when our youngest flipped in her floaty ring. A few small things could’ve been better. There wasn’t much fresh fruit or veg, especially fruit. Pool towels weren’t available unless you bought them, the AC only blew hot air so we slept with the windows open, and the beds were harder than we liked, though still tolerable. You also have to rent a blow dryer unless you’re in a superior room. Those things were minor next to all the good memories. Thanks, everyone. We’d love to come back someday!
