Dar Hkaïem

I was lucky to join the hostel’s 6th anniversary celebration, which made my stay extra special. The host was warm and welcoming, and the courtyard and decor have a lovely, peaceful feel. It’s a beautiful traditional place with an authentic atmosphere. I really enjoyed my time here and would happily recommend it.

Tou Tou is a great owner, always ready with helpful advice and recommendations. He also cooks a good dinner at a fair price. This is a quaint guesthouse in a well located part of Sousse, with a cozy room, hot showers, and a comfortable bed. The shared toilet could use some improvement, but I’d recommend staying here.

The mattress felt a bit hard to us, but we loved the atmosphere here. The original family home is small, with four private rooms and a shared toilet and bathroom, yet still has that welcoming hostel feel. The host goes out of his way for guests and gives great tips for enjoying Sousse and the surrounding area. Try his omelette if you get the chance.

I felt comfortable throughout my stay, and the rooms were clean. The guesthouse is in an area where people are kind and always willing to help. Thanks again, Toutou, for hosting me and sharing so many tips about your city. A lovely place to spend a few nights in Sousse.
