Golf Residence- Family Only

The hotel is in a handy area, with transport nearby, a harbour to visit, and two kids’ parks across the road. One is an aqua slides park, though it was closed when I went in December. The neighborhood has lots of hotels and felt generally safe. They give you a guide sheet advising you to keep your belongings close and saying the hotel isn’t responsible if they go missing, even from your room, which I found a bit odd. If you’re cautious like me, you can ask reception for a safety box, but it costs extra. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and they were cleaned every day. Food-wise, there’s plenty to choose from: salads, local dishes, fish, meat, pizza, sauces, desserts, and fruit. I’m picky, so I’m not the best judge of taste, but I’d give the food a 7. Breakfast was especially good, a solid 9, with cereal, juice, salads, drinks, crepes, cakes, and pastries. Don’t skip it. It was my first trip to Tunisia, so I can’t really compare the hotel with local standards. Still, if you’re on a tight budget and want a decent place, this could work well.

Helmi, who’s local to the hotel, arranges excursions at good prices. He went out of his way for us, even making a special trip so we could try some amazing, authentic Tunisian food. Hassib, the bar waiter, was great too, and the staff were always ready to help. Our little getaway was lovely. The rooms felt modern and clean, and the beds were really comfortable. There wasn’t much food, but that’s understandable for the time of year. Can’t wait to book again once the hotel finishes its refurb 😁

The animation team kept everyone busy with fun activities, and the pools were great for cooling off. We had a really relaxing, enjoyable family stay. There was plenty of fresh food to choose from each day, and it was delicious. The location was just right too.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The rooms weren’t clean, the whole place felt very dirty, and the food seemed unhygienic. It was the same dishes day after day, and the staff ate before guests. There was no internet service, and loud music and noise at night made it hard to sleep. I also saw clear racial discrimination.
