Hotel Tour Khalef

Youssef made our stay unforgettable. He was warm, kind and full of positive energy every day, helped with whatever we needed, and made sure we felt welcome. He's the person who made this one of my best stays. I came with my family and we all had an amazing time at Jaz Hotel Khalef. The hotel is beautiful, and the outdoor pool and beach areas are lovely and very well maintained. Room service came by daily, and the hotel was spotless throughout. The animation team also had lots of fun activities for us.

Youssef deserves special recognition. His kindness, energy and genuine care made a real difference. He greeted us with a smile every day, made sure we felt included and comfortable, and went out of his way whenever we needed help. People like him are why guests return. We stayed as a family, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Everything was organized and welcoming from arrival. The facilities were excellent, and the pool and beach were clean, relaxing and well maintained. The rooms were spotless every day, and the whole hotel was impressively clean. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in keeping standards high. The entertainment team also created a lively atmosphere with plenty of activities for all ages.

We arrived late in the evening, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. She seemed to know we'd want dinner, checked us in quickly and pointed us to the restaurant. There was a great selection of filling food, and the hotel has lovely outdoor pools, a gym and direct beach access. The animation team were fun, welcoming and put on good entertainment every night. Thanks especially to Midou, Light, Akazmi and the women whose names I can't remember. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend the hotel.

The staff were amazing, worked so hard and always had a smile. Hazem around the pool was fantastic and attentive, and Samhi, if that's how you spell it, was great in the snack restaurant. The beach was lovely too, and drinks service there was a nice touch. I didn't really watch the evening entertainment, so can't comment on that. We stayed nine nights and enjoyed ourselves, even though the hotel doesn't look very impressive from outside. The room and corridors are a bit tired, but perfectly fine once you settle in. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom had a decent shower. Dinner had a huge selection, though breakfast was more limited. I'd think twice about the a la carte. At the Italian, we had to pre-order the main. The starters came out all at once and were hit and miss. The beef main was nice, but came with half a carrot, half a potato and half a courgette, with no choice of how it was cooked. The supposed tiramisu had almost no coffee flavour and was like the buffet desserts. We cancelled our Tunisian booking the next night after that experience. The poolside snack bar food was really good, especially the fresh pizza. My only other drawbacks were the salt water in the infinity pool, which might just be me, and the poorly maintained gym. We tried to go one day and were told it was closed for cleaning for an hour and a half. When it opened, the equipment was dusty and needed cleaning, and there was no air conditioning.
