They arranged a two day desert tour for us that cost €150 in total and covered all the main sites. Our guide Amine was friendly and really knowledgeable. The staff were very helpful too: we had a late bus, and even after checkout they let us stay as long as we needed and gave us a key to come and go. Such a kind gesture. The inner courtyard is beautiful, and it was very good value.

They seem to list the place on so many sites that they can't keep track of the bookings. We were double booked, and another couple had the same problem. That couple had reserved more than a month in advance, while we had booked the same day. Just avoid. They don't seem to care about anyone but themselves.

My flight was moved to the evening, and they let me rest in a new room until it was time to leave, free of charge. The place is tricky to find, but beautiful. An absolute dream of a stay. Thank you for everything!

The lounge areas are a real highlight: one is by the small pool, and the other is a cozy spot inside with authentic furnishings. This is a hidden gem with lovely rooms, though one room was a letdown. It takes some effort to find the hotel. The locations on Booking and Google.Maps aren't accurate enough, so I added a photo of the door and the arch to help people find it. Room quality can vary a lot even though they all cost the same. We started in a small room with a very noisy AC and a door that didn't lock. Earplugs let me sleep, and after I complained on the first day, they moved us to a much more comfortable room. The first was 3/10, the second 9/10, so be aware you could get either one. The hotel is in the old city, which could be cleaner, though the hotel's ability to improve that is limited. If you get a good room, it's a great choice. Otherwise, complain or be prepared for the rattling AC.
