It’s a bit of a drive from the city centre, but we thought the getaway was worth it. Our rooms were spacious, beautiful, and very clean, and the staff were kind, attentive, and well informed. At the Mekong, the male server was really nice, and Nizar et Ahmed were friendly and kind too. I’d highly recommend the resort if you want a break from the busy city.

The sunsets, lantern-lit nights, architecture, and dunes made the place feel cinematic, while still feeling natural. Even breakfast felt personal. The hospitality was what made the escape unforgettable: every detail was handled with real care and easy attention to what guests needed. The quiet in the desert felt warm and full, and the resort seemed to rise gently out of it. Our staycation at The Mora Tozeur felt like stepping into a mirage made real. We arrived for a break and left with a piece of the desert in our hearts. It’s a deep exhale where luxury meets soul, more a feeling than just a destination.

We had an amazing time at Mora Sahara. The place is beautiful and calm, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Everything felt authentic and relaxing, with excellent service. A great spot to enjoy the desert and make unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!

We spent two nights and loved the rooms, service, and staff. The food worked well for vegetarians, and the staff and chef were happy to customise dishes for my dietary preference. Both the Asian restaurant and buffet were great. The heated pool was especially a highlight for us. Abdelhay deserves a shoutout for driving us around in the cart and making sure we were comfortable.

Mr. Nizar Saidi, the Hotel Guest Experience Manager, was so warm and hospitable, and helped arrange two unforgettable excursions. Eimad was a knowledgeable guide, while Hakim, our safari driver, was polite, kind, and highly professional. We visited the Sahara, the oasis around Tozeur, Tamerza, and Nefta. The hotel staff can set up the trip, and it’s worth paying a little extra for it. The hotel felt very safe, with access limited to guests and X-ray screening at the main gate. Our spotless rooms smelled lovely and felt like 5-star hotel rooms, with privacy across a spacious open area. Buggies made it easy to get around, like at high-end resorts. Thanks to these lovely people, our stay in Tozeur was memorable. We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to return.
