The service was bad, and the room was filthy. It hadn’t been vacuumed, with dust everywhere. The bathroom was just as dirty, with rust on the aluminum handles and black bits of grime in the shower cabinet corners. Definitely not recommended. You can find a cheaper hotel for less money.

One of my worst hotel experiences. The facilities weren’t well maintained, and after checkout the hotel charged my credit card without my permission. When I contacted them, they brushed it off as a “staff mistake” and still didn’t properly cancel the payment. The staff were just as disappointing. I said I’d leave the lowest possible Google rating, and all they said was, “Welcome.” I would never recommend this place. Avoid it if you care about your money and peace of mind.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I spent one night there in August, and the air conditioning barely worked, so I couldn’t sleep. When I called, they told me to give it a few hours, but the room stayed hot. I called again, and they offered another room where the air conditioning had the same problem, blowing hot air.

I needed somewhere for one night after my flight was canceled, so I booked Lac Leman Hotel online before flying out the next day. With a 4-star rating, I expected a decent stay. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and I wouldn’t give it even one star. The room was dreadful, with no amenities, and I felt completely unimportant as a local Tunisian. The staff were rude and showed no empathy or professionalism. I’d booked a single night, but because of an error on their part, they insisted I had to book two. When I asked the booking website to adjust the reservation, the hotel said they couldn’t do anything. I tried to speak with the reservation manager, but he acted as if I wasn’t there and ignored me. Even a little courtesy would have helped. I work in hospitality and have traveled widely, staying at luxury and lifestyle hotels in many countries. I’ve had much better service even where there were language barriers. The way Lac Leman treated me was a complete failure of basic hospitality. I’d advise anyone considering this place to look elsewhere. The lack of professionalism, the unhelpful staff, and the poor treatment left me frustrated and thoroughly disappointed. Horrible.
