It’s an inexpensive place with a lovely view and a peaceful feel. The rooms have their own bathrooms with hot showers, and there’s a shared kitchen and dining space. The air conditioning sometimes shuts off or doesn’t work very well. You can find better accommodation in Vava'u, but this is cheap.

The hilltop spot gives you great views of town and the harbor, and the place is quiet and clean. Staff can make you a filling breakfast if you ask. If you're walking back after dark, bring a flashlight since the streets up there don't have streetlights. The window mosquito nets need some attention, so use the net that goes around the bed.
