Ada Palas Buyukada

The food at the restaurant was great, and the owner was honest and kind. Expedia charged us, and the hotel charged us too by mistake. The owner realized later that day and returned the money. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean, and the amenities were good. Sleep was difficult because of the noise. The building is old, and the room creaked when the upstairs neighbors moved around. There was also noise from the nightlife outside and from birds. I think hotels in this area may all have that issue.

We had dinner at the restaurant and loved the delicious food. The staff were helpful, the garden was really cute, and it’s very close to the center. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Buyukada, this is it.

We spent three days here around Christmas. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were extremely friendly and polite. They were warm and smiley at both breakfast and dinner. Thanks for the hospitality, it was a nice stay.

We rented bikes, took a boat to the beach, shopped, and ate some delicious food on the island. It was a great extension to our 13-day group tour. Before the trip, the owner was very helpful on WhatsApp with my questions about the ferry, location, weather, and other things. My friend and I had separate second-floor rooms in this charming B and B, in a neighborhood close to town and within walking distance of the ferry. The walk was a bit challenging with lots of luggage, but they arranged a pedicab for our return, which we really appreciated. The rooms were very clean. I felt like a princess. Breakfast was a delicious traditional Turkish spread in the garden. I left the window open and could hear street noise and the call to prayer, which I enjoy. If you’re sensitive to sound, bring earplugs. I highly recommend this beautiful place.
