Ascot Hotel Buyukada

We spent one night in a balcony room, with a gorgeous view of the trees, nature, and the pool in the yard. The hotel was decorated for New Year, and the stylish furniture and pictures on every door really impressed us. The grounds were well kept, and the location was convenient. Breakfast was varied and delicious. There was a strange musty smell in the room and the soundproofing wasn’t good, but those were minor drawbacks for us. We’d highly recommend a visit.

A nice breakfast with plenty of good choices, including Turkish breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not everyone speaks English, but they’ll find someone who does. The pool was a bonus, and the hotel is close to the busy centre while still set away from it.

The pool was a real highlight, especially since the hotel doesn’t have a direct sea view. Breakfast was great, and the rooms were lovely. Everything was clean, including the bedsheets, though I found the bed too high and a bit uncomfortable. I’d have slept better with a lower mattress. The location is handy, close to the ferry terminal, restaurants, cafés, markets, and bars. Çarşi (closed markets) and bike rental places are within walking distance too. I’d recommend staying here.

The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated, and the air-conditioning works really well. There’s plenty of seating by the pool, which is also very good. The hotel is close to the main centre. Breakfast was delicious, and there’s a nice coffee shop across the street. I highly recommend it when staying in Büyükada.
