The service was bad, and they added a mandatory 10% tip to the bill. The food was a joke too: we paid 350 TL for that “octopus,” and all we got was that with some bread. Skip this place if you just want decent food and a good time. Don’t come unless you want to feel scammed.

The food was simple, tasty, and well priced. We had shepherds salad, a few appetisers, muhammara, spicy tomato and aubergine, plus chips, and it was just right for us. We dropped in for a quick lunch in May 2023. The man serving us didn’t speak much English, but he was kind and attentive, a lovely host. He even offered tea and coffee on the house afterward. I’d happily go back if I return to the island.

We had trouble ordering because nobody spoke English, and the eggplant salad didn’t look like the menu photo. The setting is pleasant, though, in the shade among the trees. The food itself was average.

The eggs were undercooked, and they wanted 140 tl for the breakfast shown in the pictures. Easily the worst kahvalti I’ve had in Turkey. Don’t go here.

Two of my friends had an exorcism in the hotel bathroom. As for breakfast, stay far away if you want a good Turkish one. If overpriced bologne and undercooked eggs are your thing, though, this place deserves a Michelin star.
