L'isola Guesthouse

The location is just right, away from the crowds and noise but still within walking distance of all the attractions. L'isola is a peaceful, soulful place to stay in Heybeliada. Our room was spotless, spacious and airy, with a stunning island and sea view. The kitchen had all kinds of complimentary coffee and tea, plus plenty of room and appliances for cooking if you want to. What really stood out was the host’s care and attention. He’s kind, pleasant and genuine, a complete contrast to the big city’s commercial places that seem focused on extra charges or getting you to buy something. This guesthouse exceeded all our expectations, and it’s hands down the best boutique hotel I’ve stayed at.

Mr. Mehmet was so kind, and the service was excellent around the clock. We hadn’t booked ahead, but he still fitted us in at the last minute and made everything easy and smooth. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the whole house has such a beautiful feel to it. My friend and I had a great weekend in Heybeliada thanks in particular to this lovely guesthouse. We’ll definitely come back, hopefully soon.

A lovely little boutique hotel, with nice people and a very good view to the northeast. In summer, the sun rises into the room. I loved the terraced room, but there’s no protection at the edge, so it isn’t suitable for kids. The shower was wonderful, with hot, soft water and very high pressure. I’d come back.

After a day at the beach, the terrace room is wonderful in the afternoon shade, with a spectacular view of İstanbul. The owner is helpful, there are lots of cats, and the shared kitchen has everything you need to cook, as well as coffee and tea. It’s a cozy place to relax in a residential area, away from the busy downtown.
