Sedef Otel

The rooms were just okay, and the bathrooms were quite small. The hotel is well placed near the city, on the main road and close to the old adana airport. There’s an in-house restaurant with a fixed menu, and the breakfast buffet has a good variety.

I had to switch rooms because mine smelled so awful. The rooms are old and dirty, and the bathroom was so filthy and moldy that I couldn’t shower. The bed was old too, and I sank into it. This is the worst four-star hotel I’ve stayed in. It doesn’t deserve four stars.

The hotel staff don’t speak English, which made it hard to explain specific things I needed. I’m also not sure where the hotel is exactly, so I can’t really comment on its location. What I can say is the rooms are nice, though nothing special, and the beds are comfortable. They’re cleaned every day, with towels changed and things like water bottles and shower gel restocked in the fridge. I haven’t had that kind of service before, and it’s great. People value different things, so for me the rooms and daily service are the big pluses.

Breakfast was the best part of our stay. Most of the other staff were friendly and helpful, but the female receptionist seemed dishonest from the moment we arrived. Our room was cold and definitely didn’t feel like a four-star room. The hotel manager advised us to take a car from the hotel, and that led to a trip to the police station and our money being stolen. The manager did try to make things right by returning our deposit, but all five nights were very stressful. Again, the breakfast was the highlight.
