I showed up without a booking and ended up staying for a few weeks. The hotel was clean, the bed soft and comfortable, and breakfast was served every morning. It’s easy to walk around or catch a nearby bus, with plenty of local Turkish food places close by. I used Google Translate to communicate, but everyone working there was super friendly and nice. I’d highly recommend it if you want a comfortable hotel in Adana. Cheers!

Hamid is the main reason this became a five-star stay for me. He welcomed us warmly, helped with whatever we needed, and treated us with honesty and respect. His English was very good, so getting things sorted was easy. You can tell he cares about guests and takes pride in his work. Without him, I’d probably give the hotel three stars. Unver Hotel is simple and modest, but comfortable enough for a basic stay and good value for budget travelers. Hamid made us feel at home, and I’d come back or recommend the place because of him. Thanks, Hamid, for making our trip special.

Ignore the photos showing a swimming pool. Breakfast is free, and at the 2025 price of 1000 TL, this little hotel is a great fit for budget travelers.

The only thing missing for me was a place to hang towels in the bathroom. Still, at around 10 Euro, who's going to complain about cleanliness? The receptionist was the nicest man I've met in Turkey, and he actually comes from Iran. That's the kind of Turkish hospitality you get here. After seeing the stone bridge and the Sheraton and Hilton on the other side, I still think UNVER HOTEL is the best hotel in Adana by miles. Are you sure those 100 Euro rooms even have towel hooks?

The room was really clean, and the breakfast was great. The owners and employees were friendly and always smiling, so I felt right at home. If you want a fancy lobby with shiny marble floors and a front desk that just checks you in, this isn't for you. Come here if you'd rather feel at home. April 2014 Rita Kalindjian
