Karbeyaz Hotel & Resort

The food was really good, especially breakfast. The rooms were good too, but the heater wasn't enough to keep me warm at night, so bring something warm. We also didn't have hot water 🤦‍♂️. Given where the hotel is and its purpose as a base before climbing Hasandağı, though, it wasn't a big deal.

We booked on a whim, my cousin and I, and ended up very pleasantly surprised. The trailheads are a short walk away, and Felix, their super friendly dog, even followed us on our hikes. Between the seasons it was peaceful and quiet, with incredible views and food, and comfortable rooms. Hülya and Tuncal were both so friendly. I'd definitely recommend staying here for a hiking trip.

The homemade meals and evenings chatting with other guests in the lounge were a highlight, along with the incredible views and sunset. We stayed for two nights to hike Hasan dagi mountain, and it was just right for that kind of trip. The family who runs the place is incredibly welcoming and does everything to make sure you're having a good time. It's recently renovated and still being extended with more amenities, so it should only improve.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed one night as a base for climbing Hasandagi. It's surrounded by beautiful nature but still easy to get to. If you want to hike or experience nature off the beaten track, I'd definitely recommend staying here.
