The natural setting and easy access to swimming caught our eye when we passed by earlier that day, so we decided to stay. The view was lovely, but the condition of the hotel made the visit exhausting, and I was glad we still had two nights in Akyaka to recover from it. The bathroom needs attention: water barely drains from the shower, the faucet keeps running because it won't close fully, only the hot side works, and the handles are coated in slippery green mold. There were also cigarette butts on the balcony, and the pillowcases smelled of perfume and tobacco. The sheets had stains. Breakfast was especially troubling. The kaymak had knife marks and orange stains, there were olive pits in the olive bowl, and we also found hair and old cucumbers. It looked as if some of the food had already been eaten. The building is visibly falling apart, as are things like the mirrors and doors. People paying for a much-needed vacation deserve better. I felt a little guilty leaving without warning the next guests, though it's a difficult line to cross. I hope management improves food hygiene, cleaning, and maintenance soon.

Dinner was delicious, and breakfast the next morning was great and healthy. The staff were professional and accommodating throughout our stay. The hotel's architecture is opulent, with careful attention to its historical background. From the moment we came in, it felt like stepping back in time. I'd happily recommend it in Akyaka for either a short visit or a longer stay, and we'll return, Insha'Allah.

For 750 try, we got a dusty room with someone else's hair around and a dead lizard on the floor. The breakfast was poor too, with low quality products and coffee that tasted very bad. We were staying here with my boyfriend, and the whole experience was a complete disappointment. The staff were unfriendly from the start. After check-in they offered us something from the kitchen, but we weren't hungry then and didn't want to order. Later, while bringing in our suitcases, we saw an extremely hungry homeless cat by the entrance and asked if they had any leftovers for it. We were told, “the kitchen is closed,” even though a huge party was happening in the garden. The room phone didn't work, so I told the lobby girl about the dirt and lizard remains. She didn't even apologize. We moved to another hotel that same day for the same price and found friendly staff and a clean room. This place isn't worth the money; the staff don't seem to care about customers or room cleanliness.

Umal at reception was rude and spoke to us very disrespectfully. We had a confirmed booking for room 202, but he said it wasn't available. After we showed him the confirmation, he still wanted to put us in a room right by the entrance where everyone comes in. I had requested a second-floor room for privacy because we were celebrating our anniversary, and that had been confirmed. Umal ruined our special day.
