I wanted somewhere quiet away from the bars, and this neat little hotel tucked out of the way suited me well. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the inside and outside were both tidy and clean. It's a boutique style place without a star rating. Given how much the star system is abused in Turkey, I'd put this hotel in the upper 25 percentile. I had to shorten my stay by one night for personal reasons, but I'd definitely pick it again if I return to Akyaka. The one issue I noticed was the lack of outlets. I could find only two in the room, and one was tucked behind furniture. A plug multiplier would be useful when people have several devices to charge.

We had an okay downstairs room, but it had no balcony despite our request and faced the river. There was nowhere sheltered to sit outside in the heat. Breakfast on the terrace was adequate, though a bit sparse, and the welcome was nice. The hotel is beautiful. Akyaka was busy while we were there and the hotel was full, but I would return at a quieter time of year if we could get a better room and more breakfast variety.

The staff were warm and helpful, and our room had a comfortable bed, good facilities, and a balcony overlooking the river. It's a charming little place with distinctive, original features. We had a wonderful stay.

The duplex was very large and the price was okay, with a great location close to azmak. But the apartment and building had a strange smell, cleaning was awful, and the place felt pretty old.
