Ugur Apart Hotel

We used to recommend this place whenever anyone asked. After what happened, I wouldn't send anyone there. Last year our room wasn't cleaned and dead insects were all over the place. We booked again for a holiday today, but walked out as soon as we saw the room.

I left feeling stuck without a room and inconvenienced. I'd planned my budget around the price they gave me for two days, but when I arrived they said it only covered one. I refused the room and left. The person there had a pushy, sales-like manner, saying, "If you don't want to keep it, no problem, I'll give it to someone else." With the Saturday crowds, I couldn't find another place. It felt like a word game with the price, as if they'd take whatever they could get from whoever came through the door. If you stay here, make sure the price is clear.

The owners are really kind and helpful, and having a private pool is a nice extra. It's an apartment very close to the sea in Ak Yaka. The one thing missing is breakfast. If they offered that, it would be perfect.

The view from the apartment, the quiet, and being near both the beach and shops were all lovely. Ferhat Bey and his family made us feel very welcome at Uğur Apart, and his warm smile and genuine manner helped us forget how tired we were from travelling. The place was clean and felt safe, and they were attentive throughout, so we had no reason to look elsewhere. Many thanks to him, his family, and the staff. We would definitely recommend it and would choose it first if we returned. Sadly, it closed in 2025, which makes us sad.
