La Brezza Suite & Hotel

We got good value at €43 per person per night. The receptionist was especially friendly and helpful, and breakfast was simple but satisfying. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, though parts look worn and could use small renovations. It's about 30 minutes by car from Bodrum, with plenty of parking; being near the road didn't mean we noticed traffic noise. Our room was clean and had a TV, air conditioning, hairdryer and balcony, plus complimentary toiletries like shampoo. The design is lovely and especially photogenic around the pool. On one night, a barking dog and another guest slamming doors disturbed us, but those were isolated incidents and didn't spoil the stay. With a few improvements, it could be even better.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the beach with food and drink service is just a 5- minute walk away. The cactus and garden area looked stunning, and the pool was clean and refreshing. Our room was clean too. A wonderful place for a few days or a longer stay.

Our first day took a frightening turn when one of the many street cats on the hotel grounds scratched my son. We asked if the cats were vaccinated, but staff said they didn't know. We went to the hospital and he received his first vaccination; now he needs four more, each requiring another hospital visit far away. With the distance and long waits, every trip takes more than half a day. The hotel promised that an authorised person would give us information about the cats' vaccination status, but nobody has contacted us. We've since heard this has happened to several families, who had to break up their holidays for these unpleasant hospital visits. This was a long-awaited and expensive holiday, and we're incredibly upset with how it's gone. The cat issue wasn't our only complaint. Breakfast and service were poor, and staff seemed afraid of management and unable to answer our questions. Our room went uncleaned for four days, the bins stayed full, and we waited an unreasonable time for toilet paper. There were around 30 flies in the bathroom, which we had to clear ourselves before my child and I could use it. The only manager we saw was patrolling the breakfast area and never approached us to ask how things were going. This disregard for guests is unacceptable. We regret choosing Hotel La Brezza and wish we'd never come.

The staff were very nice and helpful, but the rooms weren't well maintained. I had a problem, and it took a day to resolve it and move me to another room, which wasn't any better. The beach is 10-15 minutes away on foot, mostly along the main asphalt road, and it wasn't as clean as the Google photos.
